Sorry for not posting...

Heya!

Sorry for not posting, i seem to be always busy! Its a pain working full time, i feel like i'm missing out on things because of it, and when i get home i'm just too tired to do anything! :(
But hey, I have to count myself lucky...Some people are really struggling to find work these days.

So not much has happened really, just work, work, work...the usual.
OH I won Miss Slinky 2011 at our Slimming world group! I was so happy i nearly cried!
Its so hard to lose weight, i find it so annoying when some people just can eat loads and loads and never put on an ounce! lucky beggers.
But yeah, So i won! :) I was very proud, now i need to get back to target! ( which i lost thanks to an all inclusive holiday! )
So i can guess whats going to happen anyway, i will get to target, be happy and then santa will turn up with lots of chocolates!!

Anyway i think i best go now, this is just turning into Gemma's Diary of moaning!!

Hi me again... ( Clearly getting to grips with things because i keep writing )

So my blog is called MermaidDreams.
Strange name i know, but this is me! :)

So i love mermaids!
This is why :

They are beautiful
They are seductive
They are powerful
They are kick ass.

Some of you may not be as sad as me! But seriously if you have some time on your hands, google mermaids/sirens!

You will be fascinated!
I love reading about mythology anyway, but the Siren and Mermaid stories really get me gripped!!

Feeling major blog envy towards my best friend Lauren!
She clearly knows what she is doing and talking about! :S
Maybe one day i will get as good!....P.s don't have a clue what i am doing.....

Hello, so my name is Gemma..
i don't know why i am starting a blog, it's just one of them things!
uhm so what do i say now? Am i meant to write the cliche thing that people do on blogs? The " Hi i'm 17 and love to party " kind of thing?
Because thats not me.
I'm 17, i prefer cups of tea to alcohol and would rather spend a night in with a book and a Disney film than out in a sweaty sticky floored club!
I wouldnt say i was a massive follower of fashion, i do like fashion but unfortunately i cant pull many fashions off!
My favorite high street stores are new look and primark!
I'm more interested in make up and hair products than clothes :)
I work full time as an office assistant for my fathers company, I also work in the office with my mom and uncle,  I love them both dearly so working is not such a bad thing!
On the weekends i see my boyfriend Lewis and we both love watching dvds and catching up with eachother!
I have a few friends which i can count on one hand, but that is ideal for me because i don't trust many people!
I'm very into Zumba at the moment! And i think everyone should try it!
